Board Quick Minutes (for 10/25)

-Congrats to the following elected board members: Troy Stark, John Weigandt, Rob Keech, Heather Beck, and Andy Sederquist

-QCMG’s lease has been renewed with the City of Moline for the next 20-40 years

-Website has a new section to check out:

-Staffing appointments approved for Little Shop of Horrors and West Side Story.

-Board will not meet in November and will meet December 6th.

Board Quick Minutes (for 9/20)
-Nominating committee updates the board on their selection process for candidates to serve on the QCMG board.
-Voting member list was reviewed.
-An outline for the Annual Board Meeting was discussed.
-Interviews of prospective directing staff were conducted for the 2017 season. (A change from previous years, the board reviews/interviews all staff candidates, instead of a committee making a recommendation to the board.)The board held discussion at the end of the interviews and voted.

Board Quick Minutes (for 8/16)

-Lights and Sound staff have been approved for A Christmas Carol
-Discussion held on possibly setting up a video monitor in the lobby.
-New keyboard has been donated to Guild by George and Deb Swift. Thank you very much!
-QCMG bus trip to Chicago to see Aladdin on 4/22. More details to follow.

*Deadline for 2017 Production Staff applications is 9/15
*All Voting Member forms need to be completed by 9/15 in order to vote at Annual Meeting
*Auditions for A Christmas Carol to be held on 9/17-18

QCMG 2017 Season Announced

“The local premieres of the musicals “The Little Mermaid” and “Sunset Boulevard” are among the 2017 season for Quad City Music Guild, Moline.

The schedule will be:

— “Little Shop of Horrors” (March 30-31, April 1-2), which was last done by Guild in 2002.

— “Little Mermaid” (June 9-11, 15-18).

— “West Side Story” (July 7-9, 13-16), last done in 1998, as well as in 1983, and 1969.

— “Sunset Boulevard” (Aug. 4-6, 10-13).”
